Integrating ICT into education systems can increase the quality of education and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of education delivery.

Established in 2002, the ICT in Education Programme at UNESCO Bangkok assists 48 Members States across the region (as of January 2015) to harness the potential of ICT in achieving quality education for all. The programme envisions cultivating a new culture of learning through mainstreaming ICT-enabled innovations in education at all levels
