On May 7, 2026, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Mullika Traidej Chomnawang, the editor-in-chief of Pharmaceutical Sciences Asia Journal was invited as a key speaker for the international workshop "Strategies for Achieving Scopus Indexing: Best Practices for Journal Development and Management", hosted by the Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), YOGYAKARTA, INDONESIA
brought together editorial teams and academic professionals dedicated to elevating the quality and global visibility of scholarly journals.
During the workshop, Assoc. Prof. Mullika provided invaluable insights into the rigorous standards required for Scopus recognition. The session focused on:
- Journal Development: Structural improvements and editorial policies that align with international benchmarks.
- Management Best Practices: Streamlining peer-review processes and ensuring ethical publishing standards.
- Strategic Indexing: Practical steps for journals to navigate the complexities of the Scopus evaluation process.

Pharmaceutical Sciences Asia Journal invites submissions of high-quality manuscripts on the topic of “Innovations in Biopharmaceutical Formulations,” focusing on scientific and technological advancements that enhance the development, stability, delivery, and performance of therapeutics. Areas of interest include novel formulation strategies for peptides, nucleic acid-based drugs, vaccines, and cell or gene therapies; advanced delivery systems such as lipid nanoparticles, polymeric carriers, and injectable depots; as well as enabling excipients, analytical methods, and manufacturing techniques that support scalability and regulatory compliance.

Manuscripts related to this topic will be considered for publication in regular issues of the journal, with submissions accepted until August 2025.
