Last week, our Year 2 students concluded their ‘Homes of the World’ Unit of Inquiry by proudly presenting their chosen homes to their classmates.
They shared the information they had researched, including where their homes are found, the materials used to build them, the reasons they are constructed in that way, what they protect people from, and who lives in them.
Students demonstrated growing confidence as they taught one another about diverse homes from around the world.

Today our students had a wonderful time as the Assembly Hall was transformed into a magical Winter Wonderland, brought to life by the creativity and hard work of our Year 6 students and Student Council Leaders. The festive atmosphere was made even more special with a visit from Santa, who brought joy and excitement as we celebrated the upcoming winter holidays together.
As we end Term 1, we thank you for your support and trust. We wish all of our families a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We look forward to seeing our current and new students when Term 2 starts on 5th January.

Thank you to all our families for your active engagement in your children’s learning journey, your partnership strengthens our shared commitment to student success.
During this time, families also had the opportunity to browse and purchase books from our annual Asia Book Fair, adding an extra layer of excitement to the week.

Every Friday, our Key Stage 2 students visit the EYFS Department to take part in the Paired Reading Programme. As part of this initiative, Miss Chloe has invited Key Stage 2 teachers to read stories to the EYFS students, followed by paired reading between the older and younger students.
This programme provides a wonderful opportunity for our youngest learners to build meaningful relationships with older students and teachers, while Key Stage 2 students strengthen their reading confidence and leadership skills.

At TSI we celebrate everything!
The girls and boys at our Wongwianyai Campus celebrated 'Gurpurab' (Guru Nanak Dev Ji's Birthday) today with 'Langar' (Sikh community kitchen meal).
Sikh Temples all around the world use their ‘community kitchens’ to prepare and serve free meals for visitors, regardless of their ethnicity, religion, gender or economic status. To demonstrate that all people are the same, all visitors sit on the floor.
Although TSI continues to diversify (we now have more than 30 nationalities across two campuses), the universal values of Sikhism will always be at the heart of our school.
