There’s a chair strike in the Grade 2 class today!
The chairs have had ENOUGH and the students will have to write persuasive letters to get them to come back to work.
An educational page for fellow teachers, parents and guardians to inspire and promote learning in many ways through interactive play.

Today in Science we were meteorologists talking about the weather in Thailand (which is pretty much ALWAYS hot 🥵).
We looked at how we can use an outdoor thermometer to help us determine the temperature in degrees Celsius or degrees Fahrenheit, and how we can keep a weather journal to keep track of the weather over long periods of time.

Went on an excavation trip for Science today with the third-graders and found tons of fossils!
Let’s just say they were really diggin’ it…

My first graders are currently busy planning their fantasy stories for their ELA writing.
One of the girls is writing about a Potato Mermaid Queen named Madie Fry, and Fry the French Fry Mermaid Princess who lives in the Potato Sea.
They were having a tea party when they realized they ran out of tea. Not to worry, because they have a magic french fry machine that can turn french fries into anything you'd like.
All I'm saying is this girl is going places...
Also, I'd like one of those french fry machines, please.

The elementary students decided to run a donation drive in order to raise awareness for International Day for People Living with Disabilities on December 3rd.
Donations were collected throughout the month of November, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the families that supported this project.
We managed to collect a large number of consumable goods, as well as cash donations valued just under the amount of 30,000 THB.
We visited the Camillian Home for Children Living with Disabilities this morning to drop off the donations.
This was the second year we ran this outreach project, and we hope that with each year, it will increase in size and support.
Thank you once again for your kind support and for helping us be caring and responsible global citizens.
Throwback to the fantastic first Literacy Week for CIS.
The purpose of the week was to promote the importance of literacy across the curriculum so that students understand that basic literacy skills are essential in all lessons and not just in English.
To encourage and inspire the students to continue to read for pleasure, they participated in a number of events and reading-based activities.
On the final day of Literacy Week, staff and students came to school dressed as their favorite book characters. It was great to see everyone make such a fantastic effort with their costumes.

Christmas shenanigans!
We played an assortment of Christmas-themed games in class followed by a visit by the one and only Santa himself.
