ภาควิชาเทคโนโลยีทางภาพและการพิมพ์ คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย เปิดงานพิธีเปลี่ยนชื่อพิพิธภัณฑ์เทคโนโลยีทางภาพ เพื่อเชิดชูเกียรติ “ศาสตราจารย์ศักดา ศิริพันธุ์”

เมื่อวันที่ 16 สิงหาคม 2568 คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย ได้จัดงาน พิธีเปิดป้ายชื่อและร่วมชมพิพิธภัณฑ์ ณ อาคารพิพิธภัณฑ์เทคโนโลยีทางภาพฯ และ Sci Co-studying Space โดยมีคณาจารย์ บุคลากร ศิษย์เก่า และแขกผู้มีเกียรติ เข้าร่วมอย่างพร้อมเพรียง โดยได้มีการเปลี่ยนชื่อจากเดิม “พิพิธภัณฑ์เทคโนโลยีทางภาพ ในพระอุปถัมภ์สมเด็จพระเจ้าพี่นางเธอ เจ้าฟ้ากัลยาณิวัฒนากรมหลวงนราธิวาสราชนครินทร์” เป็น “พิพิธภัณฑ์เทคโนโลยีทางภาพ ศาสตราจารย์ศักดา ศิริพันธุ์ ในพระอุปถัมภ์สมเด็จพระเจ้าพี่นางเธอ เจ้าฟ้ากัลยาณิวัฒนา กรมหลวงนราธิวาสราชนครินทร์”

การเปลี่ยนชื่อครั้งนี้มีขึ้นเพื่อ เชิดชูเกียรติและรำลึกถึง ศาสตราจารย์กิตติคุณศักดา ศิริพันธุ์ ผู้ริเริ่มและก่อตั้งพิพิธภัณฑ์เทคโนโลยีทางภาพฯ ให้เป็นแหล่งเรียนรู้ด้านวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีทางภาพแห่งแรกของประเทศ ทั้งนี้ การเปลี่ยนแปลงชื่อพิพิธภัณฑ์ได้รับอนุญาตอย่างเป็นทางการจาก ท่านผู้หญิงทัศนาวลัย ศรสงคราม พระทายาทของสมเด็จพระเจ้าพี่นางเธอ เจ้าฟ้ากัลยาณิวัฒนาฯ

พิพิธภัณฑ์เทคโนโลยีทางภาพฯ ถือเป็นแหล่งเรียนรู้สำคัญของคณะวิทยาศาสตร์ จุฬาฯ ที่บูรณาการทั้งการศึกษา งานวิจัย และการบริการวิชาการแก่สังคม และภายหลังการเปลี่ยนชื่อ คณะวิทยาศาสตร์ยังคงมุ่งมั่นพัฒนาให้พิพิธภัณฑ์แห่งนี้เป็น ศูนย์กลางความรู้ด้านเทคโนโลยีทางภาพและการพิมพ์ ของประเทศอย่างต่อเนื่อง
