Job Title: Office Admin Assistant
Job Description:
Levco Holdings (Thailand) Ltd. are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Admin Assistant to support our Chairman and office admin with a wide range of administrative and organizational tasks. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth day-to-day operations while handling both office and personal matters with professionalism, reliability, and discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
Manage and organize company documents and payment processes.
Monitor office supplies, reorder as needed, and ensure resources are available.
Coordinate with office building staff, juristic personnel, the Chairman’s condo owner, maid, and driver to facilitate seamless operations.
Chairman Support:
Handle calls, emails, and correspondence.
Schedule appointments, book meetings, and make travel arrangements.
Provide reminders and keep the Chairman’s calendar up to date.
Task Coordination:
Act as a liaison between the Chairman and internal staff to ensure tasks are executed effectively.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion.
Resolve issues independently, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
Qualifications:
The qualifications we are looking for include:
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
Proficiency in written and spoken Thai and strong English skills.
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
Effective time management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines.
High levels of reliability and honesty.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to follow instructions and work independently.

When HR Hesitates to Hire New Graduates
Concerns over readiness, efficiency, and ethics
A survey by Intelligent.com reveals that managers and HR (Human Resources) departments are hesitant to hire recent university graduates. The main reasons are concerns about work ethics, communication skills, and job readiness.
The survey data indicates that, previously, a significant number of Gen Z employees were frequently dismissed just months after starting their jobs.
These incidents and perceptions have upset Gen Z, who argue that they possess sufficient virtues and are good enough to be hired by companies. They believe that their way of thinking and working may simply differ from that of other generations.
Gen Z tends to prioritize work-life balance, but this doesn't mean they aren't serious or committed to their jobs.
Several opinions gathered by The New York Post reflect the sentiments of Gen Z, such as:
"We are not lazy; we just aren't used to working in the same way that has been done for the past 50 years."
"We don't tie our entire lives to a regular job that doesn't care if we live or die."
"We work very hard, but we try to achieve success in our own way."
"I would argue that we are more creative, so we find alternative methods to get results rather than sticking to old ways."
If we overlook the methods and just focus on achieving goals, there might not be an issue. However, many companies in the survey aren't confident in the efficiency of new graduates, which raises concerns about fairness. There's hardly any evidence proving whether the traditional work style or the newer approach is superior. In the end, performance should be the key measure.

The "Webometrics Ranking of World Universities" assesses the capability of being an "E-university." The evaluation criteria consist of three indicators:
VISIBILITY (impact): The number of external links (subnet) leading to the university's web pages (50% weight).
TRANSPARENCY (or OPENNESS): The number of research citations by researchers whose work is listed in the Google Scholar database (10% weight).
EXCELLENCE (or SCHOLAR): The number of papers and cited papers listed in the SCImago database (40% weight).
