Thai Mother's Day or “Wan Mae” falls on the Queen's birthday which is the 12th of August each year. It has been celebrated annually since 1976. The day is all about celebrating both the mother of the Thai nation and mothers everywhere!

Every year TRIS celebrates Book Week with a number of activities: students and teachers dressing up as their favorite book characters, students expressing their book interpretations creatively through art, and some would express themselves through their own written story or poetry.

Book Week is not only a celebration of books but of connection. It is a vehicle to unite kids and adults with books, authors, and illustrators in order to foster a love of reading. As we all take the recommended measures to keep ourselves and our families safe during the covid pandemic, we are excited to continue our celebration of books with our TRIS community from August 23rd - 27th with our virtual book week challenge.

As you participate each day, take photos or short videos and send them to our Events/Activities Coordinator Ms. Alexandra at [email protected]. The idea is to flood social media with positive learning activities and create a sense of community and school spirit!

Your photos and videos will be shared on the school's website and other social media platforms. Start sharing and Happy Virtual Book Week!

Dear TRIS Community,

Today we have received the latest announcement from the Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) that government agencies, as well as state and private enterprises, are fully required to work from home for 14 days starting tomorrow Tuesday 20th July. The school campus will therefore have to be closed. Should you wish to contact the school, we have attached our school Email Directory of our office staff members for your reference.

Registration for the Academic Year 2021-22 will continue to be done online.
