"Project X (Extreme Sports Center)"

This thesis proposes a design that explores two main things. First, explore the sense of place/space that stimulates experience, activities and interaction between user and architecture. Second, explore the idea of flexibility and adaptability in architectural space and design that can respond to the characteristic of user and new movement through architecture. It creates community for teenagers to develop the positive identity, activities, use of free time and awareness to the society. It promotes extracurricular activity with identity, inspiration and social interaction.(through space, place and architecture)
The design proposal is set under and around Rama8 Bridge which it has existing of recreation, sports and extreme sports activities. It is in a good and unique environment and atmosphere. This thesis will use extreme sports center as an experiment by use the movement of extreme sport players and behavior combine with site elements, environments and atmosphere, applying with interior, exterior of the project and infrastructure of Rama8 Bridge.
