This year’s edition, the UNSC Committee’s topic is “De-Escalating Terrorism in the India-Pakistan Region.”

Terrorism is one of the world’s largest worries, and is something the world has faced with moments such as the September 11 attacks in the US and the recent Pahalgam attack in India. What has arisen is a question of saving humanity, and addressing terrorism, requiring true international cooperation and dialogue.

The topic depicts a fictional world where the effects of global warming are accelerated and happening overnight. Over a short period of time, nations are subject to rapidly rising sea levels, major global temperature hikes, the dwindling of already scarce natural resources, and more extremities.
