Community involvement in the development of teaching and learning materials is imperative for many practical reasons:
👍Providing resources and support,
👍Developing culturally responsive curriculum,
👍Improving curriculum quality, and so on.
Auntie told a story about two different palm trees. It’s an interesting story for the children.
The learners can learn about morals, natures, etc. Besides, many other great resources can be collected from the community to teach all subjects in the curriculum.
Actually collecting the resources is a lot more useful than a small group writing the curriculum. And it’s fun and advantageous!
