How everything started:
Daniel Reyes was an exchange student from Monterrey, Mexico in 2007 at Kansai Gaidai University in Japan when he first heard the word: internship. Six months later, he moved to China to intern for a logistics company based in Shanghai during the summer.
Before graduating from Tec de Monterrey University, he also interned at Palagon, an angel investment company located in Vancouver, Canada. After going back to Mexico for graduation, students from his university started contacting him for assistance in finding internships abroad. He saw an opportunity to help others have the same experience and in August 2009, just one month after graduation, the Worldwide Internships domain was registered at www.worldwideinternship.com (now www.worldwideinternships.org).
Today, Worldwide Internships is one of the leading companies in the internship industry with local offices in Mexico City, Barcelona, Bangkok, and Chicago.
