Chandler Audette joins our Primary School team as an experienced Early Years educator and learning designer with a passion for creating joyful, meaningful, and play-based learning experiences for young children.

With strong expertise in IB PYP curriculum design, inquiry-led learning, and student-centred environments, Chandler brings valuable experience from her recent role as an Early Years Cohort Leader at Verso International School in Bangkok.

She is highly skilled in designing engaging, hands-on learning experiences that nurture curiosity, creativity, and confidence while supporting the development of early literacy and numeracy skills. Chandler believes that young learners thrive in environments where exploration, connection, and joy are at the centre of learning.

Beyond the classroom, she is passionate about building strong relationships with students and families and has contributed to initiatives in outdoor learning, community engagement, and Early Years programme development.

We are delighted to welcome Chandler to the Ascot community and look forward to the warmth, creativity, and experience she will bring to our learners and families in the new academic year 💛

🌟✨ Our whole Early Years community enjoyed an exciting adventure at Kidzoona! ✨🌟

Through play, exploration, and laughter, our learners developed their gross motor skills by climbing, balancing, jumping, and navigating a variety of fun obstacles and activities. It was wonderful to see their confidence, coordination, and determination grow throughout the day 💪

Our learners also had a fantastic time exploring the role play areas, where imaginations came to life. From becoming shopkeepers and chefs to doctors and community helpers, students strengthened their language and communication skills through meaningful play, creativity, and collaboration with friends 🛍️👩‍🍳👨‍⚕️

Most importantly, the day was filled with joy, friendship, curiosity, and unforgettable memories. Experiences like these help bring learning to life and support our students in growing as caring, communicative, and balanced learners through the IB Learner Profile ❤️

During the session, families had the opportunity to learn more about Ascot International School’s new 1:1 Digital Learning Programme for next year’s Year 8 students. We shared how technology will support learning, creativity, collaboration, and student engagement across the curriculum as part of our commitment to developing aware, engaged, and world-ready learners.

It was wonderful to see parents engaging in discussions, asking thoughtful questions, and exploring how digital learning can further enhance the student experience both inside and beyond the classroom.

🔬🌍 Today, our students proudly showcased their creativity, curiosity, and problem-solving skills at the Ascot MYP Science Exhibition 2025–2026 under the theme “Innovating for a Sustainable Future.”

Throughout the exhibition, students explored real-world environmental and scientific challenges, presenting thoughtful ideas and innovative solutions designed to create a better tomorrow. From sustainability concepts to creative scientific investigations, the exhibition highlighted the power of inquiry, collaboration, and innovation in action.

It was wonderful to see students confidently sharing their learning journeys and engaging with visitors, parents, and peers throughout the afternoon. The exhibition reflected not only scientific understanding, but also the critical thinking, communication, and research skills developed through the MYP learning experience.

It was wonderful to come together and explore how children develop English language, reading, and writing skills throughout the Primary Years. During the session, parents gained insight into how we support students learning English as an Additional Language (EAL) and what to expect as learning becomes more language-based in Years 1, 2, and 3.

🌟✨ The PYP Exhibition Comes to Life

After 8 weeks of research, inquiry, creativity, and collaboration, our Year 6 students proudly presented their PYP Exhibition.

The Exhibition is a special milestone that allows students to take ownership of their own learning, explore meaningful topics, and confidently share their ideas with others. From interactive displays and visual presentations to websites, glossary booklets, and cue cards, students thoughtfully brought their inquiries to life for the wider community.

It was wonderful to see students speaking with such confidence and pride as they shared their learning journeys with families, mentors, teachers, and visitors. The Exhibition highlighted not only their knowledge and creativity, but also their growth as communicators, thinkers, and independent learners.

This experience would not be possible without the incredible support and encouragement from families, mentors, and our school community. Thank you to everyone who joined us and supported our students throughout this meaningful journey 💛

Our students have been bringing their ideas to life through a wide range of interactive projects connected to meaningful global topics and personal passions.

From rainforest protection, healthy eating, and financial literacy to animal welfare, access to education, global food security, and team sports, students have been independently researching, designing, and creating interactive displays, games, models, quizzes, and surveys to engage their audience and share their learning.

Through this process, students developed important thinking, creativity, and self-management skills as they explored solutions, overcame challenges, and turned their ideas into real experiences for others to enjoy and learn from.

It has been wonderful to see the confidence, imagination, and dedication shown throughout each project. These experiences reflect the power of inquiry-based learning and student agency, where every learner has the opportunity to express their ideas in meaningful and creative ways 💛
