Just finished module 3 of my Master's of Science in Innovative Education & Teaching with European International University - Paris. An interesting module on Classroom Observation & Critical Analysis. Just about to start module 4.......Reflection on Assessment Practices!
However, I need a brain break and my eyes are strained with three days of full on screen time. Time to enjoy a Brian Clough biography - The Damned United. Lots of coffee and beautiful views .

As a massive Blackburn Rovers fan, this is great to see and something I truly believe in.
Empowering players.......staff / teachers / students. It's all the same and lead to success, in any walk of life. Empowerment is the key!

As we recently moved house and jobs, I lost / misplaced a box that had a lot of my documents and previous trainings in it.
Iain Tebb from Chichester College was a great help in getting me a reissue of a TESOL certificate that I did way back in 2008 or 09 I think it was!
This particular certificate and training brought back a lot of great memories as I stepped into the world of teaching abroad!
I met some great people on the course who I still keep in touch with to this day :)

Which three are the most important to you?
For me, I have to say appreciated, trusted and mentored. Although paid well is certainly up there too lol.

I couldn't agree more with Simon Sinek!
I have been lucky to have been part of some amazing teams throughout my career!
I also think of myself as lucky to have worked with some not so great teams! A great learning curve!
What are your thoughts on teamwork and collaboration?

As one chapter closes, another one begins.
Yesterday was my last day at Canadian International School Thailand. I have had a great 2 years here and would like to say a big thanks to the owners, Dr. Nahathai and Dr. Nattakrit, for their support and guidance throughout my time here, as well as getting their blessing to move on to the next stage in my career.
Mr. Cade and Ms. Rhonda have been a great inspiration to me at CIST and are always there to listen, advise and guide teachers.
Mrs. Heather and Mr. John have been great colleagues and I have learnt so much for them since I have been here. Will miss you both!
Finally, a big thanks and much love to the students. Fantastic children who are just great fun to be around.
Now, as we pack things into boxes to move to Pattaya, I am looking forward to starting as a Year 2 teacher at Rugby School Thailand.
A Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you all! Looking forward to a great 2022.
