Recently, students at MABIS International School had an exciting and enriching visit to the National Science Museum (NSM), where learning extended beyond the classroom into a world of discovery. 🌏✨

During the visit, students explored a wide range of interactive exhibits, sparking their curiosity and encouraging them to ask questions, observe closely, and engage with science, history, and technology in meaningful ways. They experienced how ideas they learn in class connect to real-world innovations and scientific exploration. 📡

As they moved through the museum spaces, students showed enthusiasm, curiosity, and a genuine interest in understanding how the world works. The hands-on environment allowed them to learn through exploration, observation, and experience. 🙌🏻🤩

It was a full and lively day — filled with questions, conversations, and moments of surprise. By the end of the visit, students left not just with new facts, but with fresh ideas and stories to share, and a stronger sense of how what they learn in school connects to the world around them.

Thank you to all the wonderful parents who joined our Thai Wisdom workshop last week. Together, we stepped into the living tradition of Rue-Si Dad-Ton — traditional Thai hermit stretches — experiencing how mindful movement supports balance, breath, and well-being. ✨

Parents also explored the world of Thai herbs through a rich, hands-on session making herbal compresses. The room was filled with the natural aromas of lemongrass, kaffir lime, turmeric, camphor, and other healing herbs as everyone touched, smelled, mixed, and wrapped their own compress. It was a truly sensorial experience — discovering the textures, fragrances, and therapeutic properties that have been part of Thai wisdom for generations. 🌿

More than a workshop, it was an opportunity to bring Thai heritage to life — not just learning about it, but feeling it, creating it, and experiencing it together.

Thank you for your warmth, curiosity, and active participation. Your presence made the afternoon meaningful and memorable for our whole community. 💛

🌳Elementary Field Trip to Benjakitti Park🌳

To support their learning on Sustainable Cities, our Elementary students visited Benjakitti Park to explore the Bangkok City Model and the surrounding urban forest. 💕

We are grateful to Associate Professor Dr. Sutee Anantsuksomsri, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Chulalongkorn University, and Associate Professor Dr. Nij Tontisirin, Chair of the Urban Planning Program, Faculty of Architecture and Planning, Thammasat University, for leading the excursion and sharing valuable insights into Bangkok’s urban planning and city design. We also extend our sincere thanks to Khun Nueng Suthanee Saenkla, Park Manager, for guiding students through the park and deepening their understanding of its design and ecosystem. Their guidance directly supported students’ UN SDG project on Sustainable Cities & Communities. ✨

Students learned how the former to***co factory site was thoughtfully restored and transformed into an urban forest that now provides multiple benefits to city residents — producing oxygen, offering shaded recreational spaces, serving as a reservoir for flood overflow, and acting as a safe open zone during earthquakes. They explored the forest’s diverse plant and animal life and even went searching for spotted owls.

It was an engaging and meaningful experience. Students gained practical knowledge while developing a deeper appreciation for nature and sustainable urban living. 🪄

Chinese Restaurant Trip 🍜✨

Recently, MABIS middle school students brought their Mandarin learning into the real world with a visit to Lao Shandong.

Students ordered their own meals in Chinese, asked for recommendations, and described their preferences — applying classroom vocabulary in an authentic setting. They also interviewed their servers in Chinese, learning more about their backgrounds and daily lives, which added a meaningful cultural dimension to the experience. 🤩

In a relaxed environment, language skills were used naturally and confidently. At MABIS, we value learning experiences that connect the classroom to real-life communication and understanding! ❤️
