Recently, our Lower Elementary students explored The Coming of Life, discovering how life emerged on Earth and evolved into the rich diversity we see today. Through this journey, they developed a deeper appreciation for the interconnectedness of all living things.

More than science or history, the Great Stories awaken wonder, spark curiosity, and help children understand that they are part of a much larger story—one that stretches across time and space.

🌱 Because when children understand the bigger picture, they begin to understand themselves—and how they can contribute to the world around them.

Our Lower Elementary children recently heard the First Great Story, “The Story of the Universe.” 🌍✨

This foundational Montessori story sparks children’s imagination and invites them to wonder about the origins of the universe and the world around them. Through Cosmic Education, children begin to discover the interconnectedness of all things and their place within the universe.

By nurturing curiosity, awe, and a sense of responsibility, this story opens the door to a lifelong journey of exploration and appreciation for the natural world. 🌱🔭💫

🍵✨ A Blissful Beginning to the School Year ✨🍵

What a truly wonderful experience.

We were honored to welcome the volunteers from Mindful Peace Academy Bangkok to MABIS for a special Zen (Chan) Tea Meditation session—their very first international sharing session in Thailand.

From the moment we entered, our hall had been transformed into a peaceful Zen space. Gentle music filled the air, the aroma of tea invited stillness, and every thoughtfully prepared detail encouraged us to slow down, reconnect with nature, find inner peace, and simply be present.

Our teachers experienced not only the beauty and elegance of traditional Chinese tea culture, but also the mindfulness and quiet joy that can be found in each sip, each movement, and each moment.

It was a beautiful and blissful way to begin the new academic year, and an inspiring practice that we will continue to weave into our own mindfulness and wellbeing programme at MABIS.

Our heartfelt thanks to Mindful Peace Academy Bangkok for sharing such a meaningful gift with our community. 🍃❤️

There’s something special about the first day of school.

The campus came alive once again with laughter, familiar faces, and the excitement of welcoming both returning students and new families into our community. From toddlers taking their first steps into the classroom to our oldest students catching up with friends, it was wonderful to see everyone back together.

Every new school year brings fresh opportunities—to discover new interests, build meaningful friendships, develop new skills, and grow in confidence. 🎓❤️ "This school teaches you to be you."

One of the most memorable moments from our Graduation Ceremony was Pascal's heartfelt reflection on his Montessori journey at MABIS.

He shared how MABIS' boutique learning environment gave him the freedom to explore his passions and interests, while encouraging him to think independently and take ownership of his future.

As Pascal shared:

"This school teaches you to be you and to really follow your dreams. It lets you make the decisions and gives you the student agency to choose who you want to become."

His words beautifully captured what Montessori is all about—empowering students to discover their own path, pursue what inspires them, and grow into confident, authentic individuals.

What another successful and fun-filled week of Drama Camp at MABIS! 💕✨

Our talented performers brought two beloved children's stories to life with original stage adaptations of We're Going on a Bear Hunt by Michael Rosen and Don't Wake Up the Bear by Marjorie Dennis Murray. 😍

This week also featured an exciting new addition as students learned a musical theatre dance number to "The Bare Necessities" from The Jungle Book. Through acting, singing, dancing, and teamwork, our campers built confidence, creativity, and performance skills while having an incredible time together.

We are so proud of the hard work, dedication, and enthusiasm each student showed throughout the week. Their efforts culminated in a fantastic final performance that had families smiling from beginning to end. ❤️
