In unserer Bibliothek findet aktuell das Turnier des Schachclubs ,,The Rooky“ statt. Bei diesem Turnier treten 10 Mitglieder des Clubs im Rundenturnier gegeneinander an. Besucher*innen dürfen gerne vorbeischauen und ein wenig Turnieratmosphäre erleben.

Vielleicht bekommt ihr beim Zuschauen Lust, selbst zu spielen. Schachspiele könnt ihr jederzeit bei uns in der Bibliothek spielen und ausleihen.

วันที่ 15 -21 มี.ค.69 คุณปิยะกัลย์ สินประเสริฐได้รับเชิญให้เข้าร่วมประชุมนักแปลนานาชาติ จัดโดย Literarisches Colloquium Berlin (LCB) และโปรแกรม TOLEDO เธอได้มีโอกาสแลกเปลี่ยนกับนักเขียน สำนักพิมพ์ และนักแปลอาชีพนานาชาติ

คุณปิยะกัลย์ มีผลงานแปลออกมาหลายเล่ม เช่น เพราะความรักมิอาจเร่งร้อน (สนพ. Library House) เขียนโดย Daniela Krien, เพราะแมวแฟรงกี้ ผมจึงอยากมีชีวิตต่อไปอีกหน่อย (สนพ. Words Publishing) เขียนโดย Jochen Gutsch และ Maxim Leo และเล่มล่าสุด นิทานเรื่องนี้ไม่เห็นจะน่ากลัว (สนพ. SandClock Books) เขียนโดย Nikolaus Heidelbach และ Ole Könnecke

🏞️📚💬 Greetings from Wannsee & Leipzig Bookfair!
Piyakal Sinprasert was invited to join the International Meeting of Translators of German-Language Literature, organized by the LCB and TOLEDO Programm. From March 15–21, 2026 she had the opportunity to connect with authors, publishers, and fellow translators.

Piyakal has translated many books into Thai, such as ‘Die Liebe im Ernstfall’ by Daniela Krien, ‘Frankie’ by Jochen Gutsch and Maxim Leo, and most recently ‘Gutenachtgeschichten für Celeste’ by Nikolaus Heidelbach and Ole Könnecke.
We wish her continued success and can’t wait for more books to come!

Piyakal Sinprasert wurde zum Internationalen Treffen der Übersetzer*innen deutschsprachiger Literatur eingeladen, organisiert von LCB & TOLEDO. Vom 15.–21. März 2026 hatte sie die Gelegenheit, sich mit Autor*innen, Verleger*innen und anderen Übersetzer*innen auszutauschen.

Piyakal hat viele Bücher ins Thailändische übersetzt, darunter „Die Liebe im Ernstfall” von Daniela Krien, „Frankie” von Jochen Gutsch und Maxim Leo sowie zuletzt „Gutenachtgeschichten für Celeste” von Nikolaus Heidelbach und Ole Könnecke.
