English Summer Camp 2 Comes to a Wonderful Close

Congratulations to all our students who successfully completed English Summer Camp 2. Over the past four weeks, students from China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong came together to learn, make new friends, and create lasting memories.

From swimming and water slides to dinosaur adventures, Thai dance, cooking, arts and crafts, and much more, every day was filled with opportunities to practise English through fun and immersive experiences.

We were also delighted to celebrate our campers’ achievements during a special certificate presentation attended by our Principal, Mr Carl Mincher.

Exchange Student Series: Nalin’s Journey to Germany 🇩🇪

This year, three Regent’s International School Bangkok students, Nalin, Zara and Jingjing, were selected to take part in the Regent’s Round Square Exchange Programme, a unique opportunity that allows students to experience life and learning in another country while building global friendships, confidence, and cultural understanding.

We begin our series with Prapawarin Hotrawaisaya (Nalin), who spent one month at Steinmühle School in Marburg, Germany, living with her host family and exchange partner, Finja von der Mühlen, who also spent a month studying at Regent’s in Bangkok earlier this year.

During her time in Germany, Nalin fully embraced school life and new experiences. She joined the school’s rowing club, horse riding club, and the MSG Marburg football team, while also participating in Round Square Global Virtual Conferences and a rowing camp in Mannheim.

Beyond the classroom, Nalin enjoyed unforgettable opportunities to explore Germany and beyond with her host family. Highlights included attending the prestigious Rolex Grand Slam Show Jumping event in Aachen, visiting Frankfurt, spending a day at Phantasialand theme park near Cologne, exploring Mozart’s birthplace in Salzburg, Austria, and hiking the stunning Untersberg mountain in the Berchtesgaden Alps.

At Regent’s, we believe that learning extends far beyond the classroom, and our Round Square Exchange Programme is just one of the many ways students are encouraged to become confident, globally minded individuals.
