The two fighting Dutchmen, Rob Kamman and Ramon Dekkers created an awesome buzz in the early 90s when they fought like a Thai and beat some of best Thai boxers in Thailand as well as around the world. Kamman had trouble finding opponents over middleweight in the Bangkok stadiums, but Dekkers could get his weight down to welterweight and under, and took on the best. For a while he was living and training full time in Bangkok, as a muaythai professional, taking fights at the top stadiums every six weeks.

Muaythai Boxing News Always were, and always will be comparisons of the champions from decade to decade. The '90s were considered the golden age of muaythai when ticket sales were more valuable than TV coverage. In the first half of the 90s the 7 invincibles from Bangkok stadiums "best of the best" put on a sensational show at the Burswood casino in Perth, Western Australia. In those days Namkabuan was the impeccable star of Lumpinee and Saengthienoi ruled\ the roost at Rajadamnern.

It’s only a matter of time before Golden Boy Promotions seals the deal for the much-desired trilogy showdown between Canelo Alvarez versus Gennadiy GGG Golovkin. Golovkin says he can’t win by points in Nevada and wants the inevitable trilogy fight to take place in New York at Madison Square Garden or Dallas at AT&T Stadium. For the record Alvarez had a split draw with Golovkin in 2017 and majority points decision win in 2018 that was disputed by all in sundry. Both fights took place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. GGG doesn’t want to fight again in Sin City. GGG (39-1-1, 35 KOs) signed off for 10-fight deal worth $365-million with DAZN last year.

THAI BOXING HERO WANGHENG JUST ONE WIN
SHORT OF EQUALING MAYWEATHER’S 50-0 RECORD
Former muaythai star and Thailand’s boxing hero Wangheng Menayothin - who has won all 49 fights in his boxing career - is poised to equal Floyd Mayweater’s world record of 50 undefeated wins.
Wanghen’s current 49-0 record (17 by way of knockout) is better than any current world champion and level-pegged with Rocky Marciano’s 49-0 former record.
The all-conquering Thai world champion is set to make boxing history when he steps into the ring to defend his WBC world title early in the new year - and endeavors to take his winning streak to 50-0.
Recently on 25 November Wangheng defended his WBC World Minimum Weight Championship against challenger Tatsuya Fukuhara who fought tenaciously but was unable to break down the fit and skillful 32-year-old Thai champion.
SON OF BOXING LEGEND FIRST TITLE WIN
Tim Tszyu, son of legend Australian boxer Kostya Tszyu, won the WBC Asia continental super lightweight title in Sydney on 22 October 2017.
The 22-year-old rising star showed astute boxing skills against fellow Australian Wade Ryan, former ABCO Middleweight champion.
Tszyu pro record is now 7-0. However, Ryan gave Tszyu his biggest test knocking him down in the first round before recovering to win a convincing points decision.
Showing all the signs that he has inherited his father’s precise power punching the young Russia/Australian has developed into a genuine rising star.
On the same event held at the Sydney Casino former WBC super middleweight world champion Sakio Bika won the vacant WBC International Silver title against tough Serb Geard Ajetovic in the event broadcast by Fox Sports.
