On November 26, UTCC had the honor of hosting a distinguished delegation from 𝐍𝐚𝐧𝐣𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐜𝐬 (𝐍𝐔𝐅𝐄), led by 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐘𝐞 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐱𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐠, Vice President of NUFE. The visit marked an exciting step toward strengthening academic ties and fostering meaningful collaboration between both sides.

Our guests were greeted by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐒𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢, Vice President for International Relations, along with 𝐌𝐬. 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐣𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚, Head of the Office of International Relations (OIR), and the dedicated OIR team.

On November 25, 2025, the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC) joined the Thai-Pakistan Chamber of Commerce (TPCC) in celebrating its 20th Anniversary at Amari Bangkok.

The event commemorated two decades of fostering business, friendship, and collaboration between Thailand and Pakistan, bringing together distinguished guests, government representatives, and business leaders.

UTCC is honored to be part of this milestone occasion, reflecting our commitment to international partnerships and cross-border cooperation.

UTCC Attends the 20th Anniversary of Thai–Pakistan Chamber of Commerce (TPCC)

On 25 November 2026, Ms. Parichart Thammajinda, Head of the Office of International Relations, attended the 20th Anniversary Celebration of the Thai–Pakistan Chamber of Commerce (TPCC), a special occasion commemorating two decades of fostering business, friendship, and collaboration between Thailand, Pakistan and beyond.
The remarkable event was led by Mr. Abdul Ghaffar Warsi, President of TPCC and was well attended by TPCC’s honored partners and patrons including H.E. Ms. Rukhsana Afzaal, Ambassador or Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Thailand and Mrs. Vibeke Lyssand Leirvåg, Chairwoman of the Joint Foreign Chambers of Commerce in Thailand (JFCCT).
Taking place at Amari Watergate Bangkok, this special occasion also brought together distinguished guests, business leaders, and representatives from various sectors. Throughout the event, participants discussed ongoing business activities, strengthened bilateral relations, and explored future business opportunities between Thailand and Pakistan.
Ms. Parichart actively took part in the discussions, representing the university’s commitment to fostering international collaboration and engagement with global business communities.

On 17 November 2025, the Thai Chamber of Commerce (TCC) and the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC) successfully held an education and business cooperation meeting with the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) Business School. The agenda focused on setting up collaboration in education, talent development, and regional studies.

The CUHK delegation was led by 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟. 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐚𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐧, Associate Dean of Business School (CUHK), and Ms. Barbara Li, Senior Manager of Taught Postgraduate Programmes. TCC was represented by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐨𝐰𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐢 𝐉𝐢𝐞𝐦𝐯𝐢𝐣𝐢𝐝, Member of the Working Committee on China, alongside committee members and advisors. UTCC participated under the leadership of 𝐌𝐬. 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐣𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚, Head of the Office of International Relations.

Ranked 32nd globally in the QS World University Rankings 2025, CUHK is renowned for its leadership in business education and research excellence. This visit marks a significant step toward building stronger academic and business partnerships, reinforcing both TCC and UTCC’s role as a regional hub for trade, education, and collaborative development.

On Monday, November 10, 2025, Dr. Sasirin Sayasonti, Vice President for International Relations, welcomed the delegation from George Mason University Korea at the Chicago Meeting Room, Building 21. The delegation was led by Dr. Danielle Swanepoel, Executive Director of International Relations and Strategic Initiatives, George Mason University

The meeting began with opening remarks, followed by introductions of the universities. Discussions focused on academic collaboration, joint programs, and student exchanges, reaffirming the commitment to strengthen academic ties between Thailand and Korea. The meeting concluded with very fruitful discussions, and both institutions expressed readiness to move forward with future collaboration.

On November 6, 2025, UTCC had the pleasure of hosting students and lecturers from ViTrox College and the School of Industrial Management, Malaysia, for a half-day cultural and academic exchange. The visit began with a warm welcome from Dr. Sasirin Sayasonti, Vice President for International Relations, followed by an introduction to UTCC and a presentation from the visiting students and faculty.

The highlight of the morning was a series of interactive cultural activities—Cultural Bingo, Language Buddy, and Pose Challenge—which brought together students from both institutions in a spirit of fun and friendship. The program concluded with a group photo, souvenir exchange, and a campus tour, leaving participants with joyful memories and meaningful cross-cultural experiences.

On October 17, 2025, UTCC had the pleasure of hosting a delegation from the Bengal Institute of Business Studies (BIBS), India, for a formal academic visit. Ms. Parichart Thammajinda, Head of the Office of International Relations, and her team welcomed the guests and facilitated the meeting, where both sides introduced their institutions and shared visions for international engagement.

The discussion focused on potential collaboration in student exchange, joint academic programs, and institutional partnerships. Both parties expressed strong interest in working together and agreed to proceed with signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to formalize their cooperation—marking a promising step toward long-term academic ties between Thailand and India.

On October 15, 2025, a delegation from University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC) visited GAC Thailand, focusing on enhancing academic–industry collaboration, innovation in the automotive sector, and sustainable development between China and Thailand.

The UTCC delegation was led by Dr. Sasirin Sayasonti, Vice President for International Relations, together with Mr. Wang Mingliang, Deputy Dean of Thai-Chinese International School of Management (TCISM), and representatives from the Office of International Relations.

Representatives from GAC Thailand, including Mr. Xiang Zhongyuan (CEO,GAC Energy Tecnology(Thailand) Co.,LTD), Ms. Da Hongjuan (Director of Government and Corporate Strategic Cooperation), and Mr. He Liang (Director of Quality Management), warmly welcomed the delegation.

Both sides engaged in an insightful discussion on new energy vehicle innovation, internship opportunities, and the development of sustainable industry talent.

This visit marks another important step toward strengthening UTCC’s partnerships with leading enterprises in Thailand and China, creating new opportunities for students, academic collaboration, and industry-driven innovation.

Dr. Sasirin Sayasonti, Vice President for International Affairs at the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce (UTCC), welcomed H.E. E.A.S. Wijayanthi Edirisinghe, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Thailand, along with representatives from the Sri Lankan Embassy in Thailand and Oxford Chester University of Higher Education, Sri Lanka. The delegation visited UTCC to discuss future opportunities for academic collaboration. Popular programs among Sri Lankan students include Tourism and Early Childhood Education. Ms. Parichart Thammajinda, Head of the International Affairs Division, together with her team, also joined the reception, held at Meeting Room 1, 15th Floor, Building 24, on August 21, 2025.

On the same occasion, the delegation visited the Central Library of UTCC, where they were welcomed by Dr. Jomkwan Polparsi, Assistant to the President for Research and Innovation and Director of the Central Library, who guided them through the library facilities.
