Dusit Thani College is proud to be a driving force in elevating Thailand’s soft power on the global stage!

As a member of the sub-committee under the National Soft Power Development Board, the college actively supports its faculty, alumni, and current students with expertise in culinary arts to serve as instructors in the “Professional Thai Culinary Program” under the “One Village, One Thai Cuisine Chef” initiative.

This nationwide project provides opportunities for individuals from villages, sub-districts, districts, and provinces across Thailand to develop their culinary skills and train as professional chefs—helping to bring Thai cuisine to greater international recognition.

Most recently, Dusit Thani College has further extended its support by sending faculty members and alumni to serve as “Train the Trainer” instructors, reinforcing the foundation for Thai culinary excellence on the world stage.

Joining hands between Thailand and Singapore!

Recently, Dusit Thani College signed an MoU with Ascensus Institute, a leading hospitality and tourism institute in Singapore, to develop academic cooperations in various dimensions. Moreover, it will connect the credit transfer opportunities between Dusit Thani College's TOP programs and Ascensus Institute's certificate programs. This results in student internship opportunities in both Thailand and Singapore and Ascensus Institute students will be able to transfer credits to Dusit Thani College and pursue an international Bachelor’s program in Hospitality Management at Dusit Thani College.

Straight to the top on the first try!

Congratulations to our MBA student, Ms. Panida Yamthongkham, for turning classroom knowledge into an innovative product idea: FIBERY Fresh Fiber Cube, made entirely from 100% Thai herbal plants, Cyclea Brabata Miers.

This fresh fiber cube comes in a convenient jelly form—ready to eat, mix into dishes for added nutrition, or brew as a drink.

The idea was so groundbreaking and practical that it caught the attention of judges at the Smart Start Idea by GSB Startup project, hosted by Government Saving Bank. Panida’s project was awarded a research and development grant of 200,000 THB to bring her idea to life!

This marks the first time Dusit Thani College has entered the competition, and we hit it out of the park on our first try! It’s a testament to the quality of our master’s program, which empowers students to maximize their potential and transform innovative ideas into real-world products. What a fantastic milestone!

Dusit Thani College welcomed the executive team and working group from the Government Savings Bank on the occasion of coming to give the college the New Year presents. At the same time, they also came to follow the progress of the Smart Start Idea by GSB Startup project, which The Government Savings Bank provides business grants to our master's degree students.

This is the first week that , the latest concept of Dusit Thani College's canteen, has reopened for services. Our first-year students who work in front of and behind the counter are 100% ready for this hands-on experience. Even this is just a Soft Reopening, the students are diligent to learn and provide you a variety of dishes to serve your tummy. D Corner opens from 7.30 – 14.30 hrs. Let's come and try by yourself.

The Dusit Thani College team turned heads at the 50th University Games of Thailand, "Thammasat Games 2025"! While other universities marched in sports uniforms, our team proudly walked in chef uniforms, carrying the banner with style. 🧑‍🍳👩‍🍳 Sports might not be our strongest suit, but in the kitchen, we’re unbeatable! 🔥

It wasn’t just the outfits that stood out—everyone who met our athletes said the same thing: “They’re so friendly and kind!” They truly embodied the spirit of sportsmanship, spreading positivity and building friendships, which is what these games are all about.

This is a pride of Dusit Thani College when 2 third-year students from our international program, Mr. Supakorn Zhang and Ms. Jirada Kluaymaingarm, were given the certificates of Outstanding Youth Award from the Thai government. They had been recognized on their achievement receiving the first place in the Sustainable Hospitality Challenge 2024 regional semi-finals for Asia, Middle East, and Africa in Thailand. As a result, they advanced to the global finals, securing a position among the world’s top 7 teams at the competition held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It was the first time in history that a Thai team could reach the final round in this competition.
