BBA Thammasat Student Claims First Runner-Up at GrabSpark 2024 Case Competition

🎉 Excited to share that “Grab Discount Code” team from BBA TU achieved First Runner-Up in the GrabSpark Case Competition 2024, organized by Grab Thailand! 🚀

This competition challenged us to think outside the box, identify a new S-curve, and propose innovative strategies to boost customer lifetime value. Through countless hours of brainstorming, collaboration, and problem-solving, we developed a solution we’re incredibly proud of.

A big thank you to Grab Thailand for this amazing opportunity, the insightful feedback from the judges, and the inspiring ideas shared by other teams. This experience has deepened my understanding of business innovation and reinforced the value of teamwork and creative thinking.

BBA Thammasat Student Achieves First Runner-Up at Amaze Hackathon 2024!

We competed in the Amaze Hackathon organized by Ascend Group, tackling the challenge of creating video content to promote the Amaze Super Application using marketing communication strategies. Our team successfully highlighted the core features of the application through an engaging and easy-to-understand video, ensuring the message resonated with the target audience.

From this competition, we not only received an award but also gained the opportunity to intern with Amaze, where we got to meet amazing friends and feedbacks from mentors. This an unforgettable experience and one of the most valuable milestones in our journey.💛💙

On November 29, 2024 Asst. Prof. Dr. Somboon Kulvisaechana, the instructor of HR211 Human Resource Management (HRM), led a group of the students from BBA, DBTM and PBIC, to visit L'Oréal Thailand and TikTok Thailand, respectively.

This allowed the students to learn how the HRM theories have been brought to life in practice. At L'Oréal Thailand, Khun Chanaporn Chantaprateep, HR Director, and Khun Supasorn Rungsripattanaporn, Young Talent and Employer Branding Manager, discussed on how L’Oréal Thailand has embraced digital transformation through the notion of people transformation, while prioritizing employee engagement as a key driver for business success. Also, they emphasized the importance of fostering a culture of innovation and inclusion, where continuous learning and agile working practices enabled employees to thrive in a fast-evolving marketplace. The company’s approach to talent management focuses on attracting diverse talent, providing leadership opportunities, and adapting its workforce to meet the demands of the digital era. Similarly, Khun Bank Chranuvat, Talent Acquisition of TikTok Shop, Khun Dia Sutthida, Talent Sourcing Specialist and Khun Fame Watcharinporn, Community Manager from TikTok Thailand shared insights into how the social media platform leverages technology and data analytics to enhance employee engagement and productivity. The focus was on building a dynamic, creative workplace where employees are encouraged to collaborate and experiment. They also highlighted the firm's commitment to flexibility, mental well-being, and work-life balance, reflecting the company’s forward-thinking approach to talent retention. Both companies showcased how a robust employee experience, aligned with business strategy, was essential for success in the digital era. These insights offered valuable lessons for organizations navigating the future of work in 2025 and beyond.

BBA Thammasat Students Receives Honorable Mention at the 33rd JMAT Awards

During the J-MAT33 marketing plan competition by Dentiste with dry brushing technology, our team had the opportunity to conduct market research, analyze trends, and interview consumers to identify potential business opportunities. Additionally, we created a TikTok contents and sold in Dentiste toothpaste our TikTok channel.

Moreover, we developed comprehensive business strategies and detailed implementation plans while optimizing product packaging to enhance market competitiveness. This experience sharpened our strategic planning and problem-solving skills, equipping us with practical insights into real-world business scenarios.

We had an opportunity to represent Thammasat Business School as BBA International students at the 8th Thailand Education Fair in Myanmar. It was a wonderful experience for us to share insights about BBA student life and promote Thammasat Business School. Through conversations with prospective students and their families, we highlighted the academics, global opportunities, and vibrant community that make the BBA program stand out. Additionally, we were able to interact with alumni and representatives from various institutions. These interactions broadened our understandings of the educational landscape in Thailand. If we’re given the chance to participate in such events again, we would eagerly embrace the opportunity to represent Thammasat Business School and inspire others to pursue their educational dreams.
