Speak Real English - Avoid Awful Accents
I've been teaching in Asia for 17 years and recently I've noticed a trend of students speaking or wanting to speak in an accent that is similar to Kim Kardasian's.

Please understand that Kim's accent is not the best choice and is very unappealing and bizarre to most people. The best choice of accent is your own accent.

If you feel you want to alter your accent somewhat then it is best to improve your pronunciation if anything.

I am a second language learner myself and putting on a Thai accent makes me sound worse than I already do and does not fit with who I am.

British people expect authenticity and for people to be themselves. Clear pronunciation is so much better than a put on accent and it is a sign of intelligence, especially if the speaker is articulate.
