Last Friday, 12 June, we came together to celebrate a wonderful year of learning, growth, and achievement at Oakbury. Thank you to all the families who joined us and made the day so special with your smiles, encouragement, and support. ✨

We are incredibly proud of our children and all they have accomplished this year. It has been a joy to watch them learn, grow, and shine.

A special thank you also goes to our dedicated teachers, whose care, hard work, and commitment helped make both this celebration and the entire year such a success.

The Oakbury community joins the people of Thailand in mourning the passing of Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati Kromluangrajasarinisiribajra Mahavajrarajadhita.

👩‍⚕️👨‍✈️ Career Day at Oakbury! 👮⚓

Oakbury was full of excitement today as we celebrated Career Day and wrapped up our “Community Helpers and Occupation” theme. The children had such a great time learning about different jobs, asking questions, and getting hands-on with real tools.

A big thank you to our wonderful parent volunteers who came to share about their professions: Architect, Jeweller, Marine Engineer, Police Officer, Pilot, and Eye Doctor. Your time and support made the day so special for our children. 💛

Thank you also to all parents for sending your children in their amazing career costumes. It was so lovely to see our school filled with mini-doctors, pilots, police officers, and many other future professionals! ✨

We are so proud of our EY2 students, Paris and Patek, for their wonderful achievements at the 2nd Mini Merlion Swim Fest 2026! 🌟

After training for nearly a year, both Paris and Patek took part in this competition as some of the youngest athletes in the tournament — successfully receiving 5th Place Overall Score! 🏆Patek also earned a Gold Medal in the Freestyle Relay (4×25m). 🥇👏

Well done, Paris and Patek, for your hard work, courage, and dedication! Your Oakbury family is so proud of you. 💛

It was lovely to see our children showing their gratitude and respect for their teachers during the Wai Kru Ceremony today. 💛

From handmade crafts and cards to flowers, performances, and sweet gifts, every gesture meant a lot to our team. Seeing the children wai with grace and respect was especially heartwarming.

🔥🚒 Fire Safety Day at Oakbury! 🚒🔥

Our students had an exciting and meaningful day becoming little “Fire Safety Heroes” as they learned about fire safety and emergency response in fun, engaging ways. 💛

From practising “Stop, Drop, and Roll” and rescue challenges to taking part in our school fire drill, the children showed great focus, bravery, and teamwork throughout the day.

These hands-on experiences help children build confidence, safety awareness, and important life skills in a supportive learning environment. We are so proud of all our students! ✨
