I have never seen myself as a speaker or presenter because I thought I am not born with that ability.
I viewed myself as a quiet, introverted person who doesn't have what takes to be on stage.
But I also knew I wanted to change that, and it is astonishing how far you can go with a bit of dedicated practice over a period of time.
Every speech is a fight with self-doubt and the fear of messing up. It is hard, but it also gets a bit easier each time.
It takes time to develop skills and conquer fear, but the person you become because of that is someone that I'm sure you can be proud of.
This is an award I have won at the regional Toastmasters Table Topics (impromptu speaking) competition.
One reason I created Speaker School was that regular practice and feedback in speaking/acting/performing helped me so much in my personal development and I wanted to give others a chance to experience the same😊
Why you should train security geese rather than security dogs🦆👮♂️
In the Speaker School activity "How to" my objective was to explain the process of schooling geese for higher responsibilities😄

At Speaker School we always start with a warm up activity to break the ice and kickstart our creativity🧠😛✌
For example with an Association Chain:
One person starts by saying a random word and gives it to the next person, who will then come up with another word he or she connects to the one that was given. From here we move to the next person and so on:) To challenge yourself make it quick and creative!😁
Public Speaking ➡️ Challenge ➡️ Courage ➡️ Hero ➡️ Movies ➡️ Popcorn ➡️ Butter ➡️ ...😊 how would you continue?
☝️FYI: We are now online on Zoom, please join us for more fun activities to open up and get comfortable speaking infront of an audience👍
In "Expert" you become a highly knowledgeable person in a field that we pick for you. The audience then can ask any question which need to be answered professionally🤓😁
Patrick here is now a Taxidermist (someone who stuffs dead animals) and is walking us through the process🦅☝️
If you want to give it a try and practice your public speaking, join us on Saturday over Zoom😀
