🙏 I have been very grateful for all of my valuable education and career opportunities at Chulalongkorn University, especially my various academic careers during my Ph.D. at Chulalongkorn University as: (1) a university lecturer (part-time), (2) a researcher (co-author, freelance), (3) a research assistant (full-time and freelance), (4) a teaching assistant (freelance), and (5) a guest speaker, as well as additional freelance roles at Chulalongkorn University, including (1) translating, (2) proofreading, (3) editing, (4) public relations, (5) participating in focus groups/group interviews regarding curriculum development, (6) organizing experience-sharing sessions on university life and applications, and (7) giving educational consultations for university applications and English proficiency tests, and I am looking forward to future opportunities.🤗

The Language Institute of Thammasat University (LITU) invites students, teachers, researchers, and anyone interested in language education to attend the public talk “The Role of Digital Technology in L2 Assessment.”

The talk will be delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sun-Young Shin from the Department of Second Language Studies, Indiana University Bloomington, USA. The session will explore how digital technologies such as AI scoring, automated feedback, and multimodal listening tests are transforming second language assessment, while also raising important questions about validity, fairness, and interpretation of learner ability.
