📣 Thai Legal Studies is inviting submissions for inclusion in the December 2025 issue (Vol. 5 No. 2). More info on our website: https://tls.law.tu.ac.th

🖋️ We welcome a diverse range of contributions, including:

1️⃣ Articles (6,000–12,000 words): Research and analyses focusing on the Thai legal system, its laws, institutions, and jurisprudence. We also encourage submissions addressing legal issues that impact Thailand more broadly.

Peer review: A minimum of two reviewers will be chosen. On request by an author, a third reviewer will be chosen if such is required for purposes of academic advancement. 🥈Thai Legal Studies is accredited in Tier 2 of the Thai Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI).

2️⃣ Commentaries: Scholarly discussions and perspectives on recent legal developments, cases or legislation in Thailand

3️⃣ Translations: English translations of eminent Thai academic articles, judgments and other materials

4️⃣ Book reviews: Critical evaluations of books related to Thai law or legal issues affecting Thailand

We are pleased to announce that Thai Legal Studies Vol. 5 No. 1 (July 2025) has been published: https://tls.law.tu.ac.th

The issue features original articles on the interpretation of contracts
in Thai private law and on the protection of vulnerable victims in Thai criminal procedure.

It also contains a commentary on environmental cases at the Supreme Administrative Court, a translation of the Constitutional Court’s decision to dissolve the Move Forward Party, and two book reviews.

ACCREDITATION UPDATE: TLS NOW BECOMES TIER 2!

Thai Legal Studies (TLS) is pleased to announce that the Thai Journal Citation Index Centre (TCI) has accredited our journal in Tier 2.

What does this mean?
Being a Tier 2 journal allows academic authors in Thailand to use publication of articles in TLS to advance their careers, such as to Assistant and Associate Professor.

We sincerely thank the authors who have previously submitted their work to TLS, and, going forward, encourage all scholars to consider submitting articles in English to the journal.
