Hello everyone. Long time no see. Today let’s practice Thai with this dialogue.

At Ease Thai Restaurant

While Ken and his friends are having dinner and listening to the singer in this outdoor restaurant, the owner comes over to talk to him.

Owner : สวัสดีค่ะ เป็นอย่างไรบ้าง สนุกมั้ยคะ sà-wàt-dee kâ · bpen yang ngai bâang · sà-nùk mái ká?
(Hello. Do you have fun?)

Ken : สนุกครับ sà-nùk kráp (Yes, I do.)

Owner : อาหารอร่อยมั้ยคะ aa-hăan à-ròi mái ká (Is the food delicious?)

Ken : อร่อยมากครับ à-ròi mâak kráp (Yes, it’s very yummy.)

Owner : เผ็ดมั้ยคะ pèt mái ká?
(Is it spicy? )🌶️

Ken : เผ็ดนิดหน่อยครับ pèt nít nòi kráp (A little bit spicy.)

Owner : เอาผลไม้มั้ยคะ ao pŏn-lá-mái mái ká?
(Do you want some fruits? )

Ken : เอาครับ มีอะไรบ้างครับ ao kráp · mee à-rai bâang kráp? (Yes, What fruits do you have?)

Owner: มีส้ม ส้มโอ แตงโม มะละกอ สับปะรดค่ะ mee - sôm, sôm- oh, dtaeng- moh, má-mûuang, má-lá-gor, sàp-pà-rót kâ

(We have oranges, pomelos, watermelons, mangoes, papayas and pineapples.)

Ken: ดีดี ผมชอบกินมะม่วงมาก เอามะม่วงครับ ขอบคุณครับ dee dee, pŏm chôp gin má-mûuang mâak, ao má-mûuang kráp , kòp kun kráp

(Good. I like to eat mangoes so much. I want mangoes. Thank you.)

Owner: ยินดีค่ะ กินให้อร่อยนะคะ yin dee kâ, gin hâi à-ròi-ná-ká (You’re Welcome. Please enjoy eating.)

Ken : ขอโทษครับขอกาแฟเย็น 2 ที่ครับ

Waiter: dâai kâ ได้ค่ะ (okay. )
