Our Adjudication Core consists of qualified veterans of debating. While their achievements attest to their skills, their passion for making debating accessible is the driving force behind MFA Interschool.

Our online training platform is designed to allow participants to practice, feel comfortable, and enter the event prepared. For novice teams, training videos will be an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the fundamentals of debating. Our trainers also double as the motions committee, and that means fabulous motions.

We have invited the Top Adjudicators from around the world. Our goal is to offer an opportunity for growth, and having experienced trainers as adjudicators means quality feedback and constructive every round.

4️⃣ Strong Organizing Team
Point Avenue Thailand aims to empower the next generation of leaders in Southeast Asia to transform the world through wisdom, integrity, and compassion. At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand aims to empower the youth. Their collaboration has enabled a convening team of experienced and diverse debaters who have worked across South East Asia, South Asia, North-East Asia, and in majors worldwide to launch this initiative.

We believe in offering each participant a chance to do well. But we also fully appreciate that it can be daunting for those that are new to debating. This is why our Novice category focuses on getting beginners accustomed to debating and easing them into the amazing world of Competitive Debating.

Hello all,

Due to the worsening of the COVID situation in Thailand, we have decided to postpone our MFA Inter-School Debate Competition. The revised dates for the online training for participants, and the debate competition itself, will be announced soon.

We are pleased to announce our final Core Adjudicator: Sh*tab Daiyan Akash! They have represented IIUM in majors all over the world and been part of or witnessed some of the most iconic moments for Asian Debating. As a debate coach for Point Avenue, Sh*tab is also one of the conveners for this Debate Competition.

Aaaand, here is our next Core Adjudicator. Please welcome Narongpol Boat Sathorn! Boat has been absolutely essential to the entire effort and even more so for the debating community in Thailand. As the other half of the fantastic coaching Team, Boat has been a huge presence in the Debating Community. He is also found representing Thailand all over the world. We are very excited for him to be part of this competition, and just know it would not be a debate competition without him.

We are very excited to announce our first Core Adjudicator: Praewta Sorasuchart!

Praewta has been a prominent part of the debating community in Thailand for a very long time. She has also been a prominent representative of the debating community in Thailand and Asia. Her current role as one half of the superstar coaching duo has been essential to growing the culture of debating in Thailand. Praewta brings her experience as a debater, community leader, adjudicator, and coach to the event. We are honoured to have her as our Core Adjudicator for the 1st MFA Inter-School Debate Competition 2021!
