🌍 New Tier1 Publication | Patient Safety & Emergency Teamwork 🎊
Medication errors remain a major patient safety challenge in emergency care. 💊💉
Can interprofessional simulation-based education strengthen teamwork and reduce these risks?
We are pleased to share our latest publication in JMIR Medical Education (Tier 1 Journal, Impact Factor 12.6).
🚀 Enhancing Interprofessional Team Performance to Prevent Medication Errors in Emergency Care: A Quasi-Experimental Study Using Multimodal Virtual Simulation-Based Interprofessional Education
This study demonstrates how multimodal virtual simulation-based interprofessional education can improve:
• Non-Technical Skills (Leadership, Communication, Situation Monitoring, Mutual Support)
• Interprofessional collaboration in emergency teams
• Medication safety in high-risk clinical environments
This work contributes to the growing evidence that simulation-based interprofessional education can translate into safer patient care.
