🩹 First Aid Training for Our Aster Team🩹
Today, our Thai teachers, teaching assistants and administrative staff took part in essential First Aid training, delivered by one of our trusted medical partners, BNH Hospital.

From responding to everyday injuries to knowing what to do in an emergency, regular training helps ensure our team has the knowledge, confidence and skills to act when it matters most.

Another important part of getting ready for the year ahead and keeping Aster a safe, healthy and caring place for every child. 💜

A big thank you to the BNH Hospital team for their continued support of our school community.

🌟Amazing Aster Students, Amazing Achievements🌟
We are incredibly proud to celebrate the fantastic achievement of Mickey in Year 9, who was crowned Champion in the Junior Line Formula Robot category at the WRG Thailand Championship 2026! 🤖🏆🇹🇭

Competing against 75 students, Mickey’s achievement is a wonderful reflection of his talent, creativity, determination and passion for robotics.

And the journey continues! Mickey will now have the exciting opportunity to represent Thailand at the WRG Robot Games Japan 2026 in Chiba this November. 🇯🇵

We are constantly amazed by the diverse talents of our Aster students and love seeing them pursue their passions and achieve at such a high level.

⚽🌏 Aster Students Pushing Boundaries – James in China! 🇨🇳
With the World Cup now over, congratulations to Spain! 🇪🇸🏆 Perhaps it’s time to start looking ahead to 2030 and 2034… James, we’ll be watching! 👀⚽

Last week, James travelled to Pingxiang, China, with his U11 team to compete in the Red Little Cup Championship, an international youth football tournament bringing together teams from China and Thailand. We love seeing Aster students pushing boundaries, taking opportunities and discovering just how far their talents can take them in the classroom and far beyond it. 🌏

More important than any result was the experience: travelling overseas as part of a team, competing against strong international opposition, adapting to a different environment and learning what it takes to challenge yourself at a higher level. James returned with new experiences, new lessons and plenty of football memories!

Well done, James! Keep working, keep learning and keep dreaming big. ⚽👏

🌟 Meet the Team | Welcome Mr Peter & Ms Rebecca 🇬🇧
We’re delighted to welcome Mr Peter to the Aster Primary team for the new academic year! 🌱

Peter joins us from the UK with nine years of teaching experience, with particular expertise in Upper Key Stage 2 and Year 6. Throughout his career, he has built a strong record of supporting pupils to achieve excellent academic outcomes, including extensive experience preparing children for end-of-Key-Stage assessments and helping them develop confidence in both English and Mathematics.

We are delighted to welcome Mr Stewart to Aster International School Bangkok as our new Science and Physics Teacher. With over 30 years of educational experience, including the past eight years teaching in Thailand, Stewart brings exceptional subject knowledge, proven leadership and a passion for inspiring curiosity, critical thinking and academic excellence.

Mr Stewart's qualifications include;

🌍 Meet the Team | Welcome Ms Jessica 🗺️
We're delighted to welcome Ms Jessica to Aster International School Bangkok as our new Secondary Geography Teacher. Ms Jessica joins us from the United Kingdom with 10 years of teaching experience and an outstanding track record of academic success.

Her Qualifications include;

🎓 BSc (Hons) Geography – University of Nottingham
🎓 PGCE (Secondary Geography) with Distinction – University of Nottingham
🎓 UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Early in her teaching career, Ms Jessica was recognised with the prestigious Nottingham Post Education Award for Newly Qualified Teacher of the Year, celebrating her outstanding classroom practice and contribution to education. This set the foundation for a career dedicated to excellence in teaching and learning.

Most recently serving as Head of Geography, Ms Jessica led one of the school's highest-performing departments, achieved the prestigious Geographical Association Secondary Geography Quality Mark, and developed an inspiring, knowledge-rich curriculum that consistently delivered exceptional student outcomes.

For Ms Jessica, geography is much more than maps and places. It is about developing curiosity, encouraging students to ask questions, understand global challenges, and appreciate the diverse cultures and environments that shape our world. She has led numerous field trips, established geography collaboration networks between schools, and continually sought innovative ways to bring learning to life.
