🌸 A sweet taste of Thai tradition! 🌸

This month's Craft & Culture Workshop featured Luk Chup (ลูกชุบ), one of Thailand's most beautiful traditional desserts. 🍓🥭🍊

Students learned how to shape colorful miniature fruits from mung bean paste before carefully painting and glazing each piece by hand. It takes patience, creativity, and attention to detail but the results are always worth it! ✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us and brought these tiny edible works of art to life. We hope you had as much fun making them as we did! 💙

Thank you to everyone for joining our July Culinary Workshop. 💙🇹🇭

This month's workshop was all about the comforting flavors of Thai home cooking. Together, we prepared Hor Mok Pla Krai, a rich and fragrant steamed fish curry, and Kaeng Chuet Sapparot Goong, a light and refreshing pineapple soup with shrimp that beautifully balances sweet and savory flavors. 🍍🦐

It was a joy to cook alongside such an enthusiastic group, seeing everyone gain confidence in the kitchen while sharing stories, laughter, and a love for Thai cuisine. We hope you'll recreate these dishes at home and enjoy sharing them with your family and friends. 🥰

🎨 July DTV Thai Craft & Culture Workshop 🇹🇭

This July, we're diving into one of Thailand's most beautiful traditional desserts Look Choup (ลูกชุบ) 🌿🍊

Made from sweet mung bean paste and carefully hand-shaped and painted to resemble miniature fruits and vegetables, Look Choup is a true blend of Thai culinary art, craftsmanship, and culture.

In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn:
✨ How to prepare traditional mung bean filling
🎨 Techniques for shaping and painting realistic mini fruits
🍃 The finishing process to create their signature glossy appearance
💛 The cultural history behind this beloved Thai dessert

We can't wait to create these beautiful edible works of art with you!
