🇹🇭 Have you ever heard the Thai slang “พร้อมบวก” /prɔ́ɔm bùuak/? 😆🔥
If you translate it word by word, you might get VERY confused!
พร้อม /prɔ́ɔm/ = ready
บวก /bùuak/ = to add, plus ➕
But wait… พร้อมบวก /prɔ́ɔm bùuak/ does NOT mean “ready to do math!” 😂
In Thai slang, บวก can mean to fight, confront someone, or get into it with someone. So when a Thai person says:
👉 พร้อมบวก! /prɔ́ɔm bùuak/
It means: “I’m ready to fight!” or “Bring it on!”
For example:
อย่ามาหาเรื่องนะ ฉันพร้อมบวก!
/yàa maa hǎa rʉ̂ang ná, chán prɔ́ɔm bùuak!/
Don’t mess with me. Bring it on!
You’ll often see expressions like this in LINE stickers, memes, comments, and casual conversations. It’s playful between friends sometimes, but depending on the situation and tone, it can sound aggressive—so don’t say it to everyone! 😂
Learning Thai from stickers is fun because you get to learn the Thai that people actually use not only textbook Thai. 🇹🇭✨
Your turn! 👇

= No way, I’m scared! 😂
