On the morning of July 27, 2025, invading Thai forces continued their deliberate assault on the sacred Preah Vihear Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that the international community has a duty to safeguard. The Thai military launched a fresh armed incursion, deploying heavy artillery and firing directly at the temple complex, resulting in extensive and irreparable damage to multiple sections. We categorically and unequivocally condemn this blatant act of cultural vandalism and military aggression.

ខ្ញុំ​សូម​សំណូមពរ​ដល់​អង្គការ​យូណេស្កូ​ថ្កោលទោស​យ៉ាង​ដាច់​អហង្ការ​ចំពោះ​ទង្វើ​របស់​ជនជាតិ​ថៃមួយនេះដែលបានបំផ្លាញ​ដល់​ប្រាសាទ​ព្រះវិហារ​ដែលជាសម្បត្តិ​វប្បធម៌​ខ្មែរ​ ដែលបាន​ចុះ​បញ្ជី​បេតិកភណ្ឌ​ពិភព​លោក។ ក្នុង​នាម​ជា​ប្រជាជន​ខ្មែរ​មិន​អាច​ទទួល​យក​បាន​ជា​ដាច់​ខាត​។

I respectfully appeal to UNESCO to firmly and unequivocally condemn the actions of these Thai nationals who have caused damage to the Preah Vihear Temple — a sacred Khmer cultural heritage site that has been inscribed on the World Heritage List. As a Cambodian citizen, I find this act utterly unacceptable and cannot tolerate such a violation under any circumstances.
