The students found out today that CVC words, or consonant vowel consonant, will usually have a short vowel sound. Try sounding out CVC words with your child, such as D-A-D.

Learning can also take place outside the classroom! The students have worked hard all year and are now on summer vacation, so we decided to spend the day learning about golf’s history and vocabulary used in the sport.

IELTS Preparations can can never start too early! It is a very detailed and rigorous test. I try to get the students to be as accustomed to the lengthiness of the test and this can help with the stress of the exam room.

Technology is a tool, when used productively students can benefit from it. Learning how to integrate with this generation is the key to finding common ground.
