The Office of Student Affairs has identified inappropriate conduct by some students in relation to class attendance, including attending classes on behalf of other students, checking in electronically for others, and signing attendance documents on behalf of others.
The Office of Student Affairs would like to inform all students that such actions constitute violations of the Rangsit University Regulations on Student Discipline, B.E. 2569 (2026). In order to maintain academic standards and uphold integrity and ethical conduct, all students are requested to strictly comply with the following:
1. Students are strictly prohibited from checking in, recording attendance, or signing attendance documents on behalf of another student under any circumstances.
2. Students are strictly prohibited from asking, hiring, or providing their passwords or login credentials to another person for the purpose of attending class or checking in on their behalf.
3. All students are required to strictly comply with the University’s announcements, rules, and regulations.
If faculty members or staff discover any such misconduct, all students involved—both the student who checks in or signs on behalf of another student and the student who allows another person to do so—will be subject to investigation and disciplinary action in accordance with University regulations.
