Assistant to the Rector for Finance Champions Campus Hygiene, Enlists Dove Biotech for Disinfection Services at MCU”

🔹Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suwara Nakyos, President of the MCU Alumni Association, Acting Vice-Director for Administration at the International Buddhist Studies College (IBSC), and Assistant to the Rector for Finance MCU, assigned Dove Biotech Co., Ltd. to carry out disinfection operations. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suvara Nakayod also serves as the Managing Director of the company's disinfectant manufacturing plant, which produces Antinfek 30 D Antibacterial Disinfectant, an organic, colorless, and odorless product.

🔹The company proceeded to spray Antinfek 30 D Antibacterial Disinfectant across various locations within MCU. This initiative aims to prevent airborne pathogens and bacteria, such as COVID-19 and the H5N1 virus (Avian influenza), thereby promoting hygiene and building confidence among staff and facility users.

📍The disinfected areas included:

📍Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University held the Opening Ceremony of the Academic Year and the Sāmīcikamma Ceremony on the occasion of the Buddhist Lent (Vassa) for the Academic Year 2026 at the MCU 48th Anniversary Building, Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, Lam Sai Subdistrict, Wang Noi District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, Thailand.

🔸On this occasion, Phra Brahmawatcharatheeracharn, Prof. Dr., Rector of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, graciously presided over the ceremony.

🔸In participation, Phrakhrusamu Vachiravich Thitavangso, Director of the International Buddhist Studies College (IBSC),

🔹and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suwara Nakyos, Assistant to the Rector for Finance, President of the MCU Alumni Association, and Acting Vice-Director for Administration of the International Buddhist Studies College,

📍led the college administrators, lecturers, staff members, and students in performing Sāmīcikamma before the Rector in observance of the Buddhist Lent for the Academic Year 2026.

📣The Vassa period is one of the important monastic traditions in which monks and novices perform Sämicikamma as an expression of mutual respect, reconciliation, harmony, and peaceful coexistence within the Sangha. It is regarded as a virtuous discipline and a valuable Buddhist tradition. The University annually provides an opportunity for administrators, lecturers, staff members, and students to express respect in accordance with the traditional monastic etiquette observed between seniors and juniors during the Buddhist Lent.

Compassionately Provides Temporary Accommodation and Essential Facilities for Bhikkhunee and Nun

🔸Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suwara Nakyos
Assistant to the Rector for Finance
President of the MCU Alumni Association
and Acting Vice-Director for Administration of the IBSC, has extended assistance to her students who are Bhikshunee and Nun affected by the temporary closure of the women's dormitory (Dormitory for renovation for a period of six months.

🔸Recognizing the difficulties faced by these female students, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suwara Nakyos, in her capacity both as an administrator and as a teacher responsible for their welfare, arranged temporary accommodation on the third floor of Mahachula Book Centre, which serves as the office of the MČU Alumni Association.

🔸This arrangement is intended to provide Bhikshunee and Nun students with appropriate and safe living conditions throughout the renovation period.
In addition, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suwara Nakyos personally contributed her own funds to support the renovation and the provision of necessary facilities, including:

🔹Repair of bathroom facilities
🔹Installation of dark privacy film on the entrance and exit doors of the accommodation area
🔹Two microwave ovens
🔹Two electric water boilers
🔹One washing machine
🔹One clothes dryer

Representative of the Competer Learning Center (CLC) Foundation
also joined as a co-sponsor by donating funds for the purchase
of 60 multipurpose sleeping tents. These tents are intended to provide temporary accommodation and additional convenience for Bhikshunee and Nun of the University during this period.

📌This initiative reflects the spirit of compassion and selfless generosity demonstrated by the University administrators and supporting network, who have worked together to ensure that the affected students are provided with suitable living conditions, safety, and basic facilities. 📅On Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.,

🔹the International Buddhist Studies College (IBSC), Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, participated in a Buddhist chanting ceremony held as a royal merit-making tribute on the occasion of the birthday anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother, observed as National Mother’s Day.
The ceremony was organized by Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University at the Somdet Phra Phutthachan (Aj Asabhamahathera) Building, Vipassana Meditation Division, 2nd Floor, Lamsai Subdistrict, Wang Noi District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province.

🔹The ceremony was presided over by Most Ven. Prof. Dr. Phra Brahmawatcharatheeracharn, Rector of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, who graciously presided over the Buddhist chanting ceremony held in commemoration of the birthday anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.

🔹The International Buddhist Studies College (IBSC), Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University (MCU), led its faculty members to participate in the 2026 Faculty Orientation Program for Faculty Members of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, organized for both the central and regional campuses. The program was held from 9–10 August 2026 at the 48th Anniversary of His Majesty the King Maha Vajiralongkorn Building (M.V.K. Building), Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, Lamsai Subdistrict, Wang Noi District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, Thailand.

🔹On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Phra Brahmawatchara Theeracharn, Rector of Mahachulalongkornrajavidyalaya University, graciously presided over the opening ceremony and delivered an address to faculty members from the central and regional campuses. The orientation aimed to enhance faculty members’ understanding of the university’s “Policy for Developing the Potential of MCU Faculty Members in the AI Era.”
