We are waiting for the new opening rules for Thailand and especially Krabi area! On Thursday we should know what countries can come without any restrictions to Krabi from the 1st of November. 🙏❤️

O, we hope.

Dear Valued Customers,

We hope you are all healthy and looking forward to getting back on that plane to your favourite little dive centre.

So we have now been closed for 1 year.
I thought it was time to say hello and update you all on what's happening.

Thailand has pretty much been on lockdown for 1 year with all borders closed. The authorities would only allow some people in, who then would have to do a 2 week quarantine in a hotel room in bangkok at costs between 35,000-200,000 Thai Baht. One could not leave the hotel, no swimming in the pool, pretty much locked up for 15 days, food was pretty rubbish also.

Thailand has dealt extremely well with less then 100 covid deaths and not too many cases.

It looks like from 1st October that Thailand will be reopened to tourists with more lenient rules.

We hope to be open from November and we are hoping to welcome you all back.

Stay tuned for updates, as soon as we know that Thailand is open we will update you.

To all shark lovers. The largest area of shark biomass is currently being decimated by a fleet of 260 Chinese fishing vessels. The scary thing is, this is legal. The scarier thing is, this has happened for at least the last 3 years. It CANNOT continue. The massive fishing fleet, identified as the white spots on the image, is located between the Galapagos Islands UNESCO World Heritage Site and Ecuador's territorial border. This means neither authority can intercept unless their boundaries are crossed. When those boundaries were crossed by a vessel in 2017, 300 tonnes of sharks, many endangered, were discovered. There are 259 other vessels that are in operation, going unchecked, with an unimaginable amount of precious species inside. This is devastating and heartbreaking and we cannot allow this to continue. Do we have an answer for stopping them right now? No. But passionate people are out there, fighting for change, setting up petitions, lobbying governments, raising awareness and creating innovative solutions to these problems. But they need YOU. Please find a very small list of initiatives to get behind below, please add more in the comments.⁣
