All profits from Time for Lime directly support Lanta Animal Welfare, a charity that provides life-saving help to abused and injured stray animals, and conducts sterilization/rabies vaccination programs on the island and surrounding areas. As 2025 comes to a close, Our owner of Time For Lime and founder of Lanta Animal Welfare is reflecting on how far Lanta Animal Welfare has come in 20 years, and what still matters most: the animals.

Around 1,250 rescue animals finding loving homes and nearly 75,000 sterilised.

But there is a hard truth: adoptions have fallen, and more dogs are waiting with us for longer than they should.
This year, 17 dogs were adopted.
In 2019, 67 dogs were adopted.

Adoption is not just a happy ending for one dog. It saves two. One dog leaves to become part of a family and change a home forever. At the same time, a space opens here, and another animal can be rescued who would otherwise have nowhere to go.

If you have room in your life for a LAW dog, please consider adopting.
If not, please share one adoption post, or send it directly to one person who loves animals.

That simple action can be what opens the right door at the right time.
