⚽ Our First Football Camp Is Done — And It Was a Strong Start
Last week, we wrapped up our first Fury Hawks Football Chiang Mai football camp, and we finished it the best way possible — by taking the kids to a local tournament and letting them test themselves on the field.
It was a full week. The players trained twice a day, with sessions in the morning and again in the afternoon. In the evenings, we slowed things down a little and talked football properly — strategy, positioning, teamwork, and how to think during the game.
One special moment for the kids was the chance to hear advice from Lamphun Warriors player Aly Cissokho known for his time at FC Porto, Lyon and Aston Vila, who joined us to share his experience and speak to the players. For young athletes, moments like that matter. It shows them that football is not just running and kicking — it’s discipline, mindset, and learning from people who’ve already been through the journey.
But camp wasn’t only about training. The kids also spent a lot of time together off the field — playing, talking, laughing, and building the kind of connection that every real team needs. You can’t force chemistry. It grows naturally when kids spend real time together.
We also added sauna and cold bath recovery sessions, which were a great experience for the group. For young athletes, recovery matters just as much as training — it helps the body rest, improves circulation, and teaches them that taking care of themselves is part of becoming stronger.
At the end of the week, the team stepped into competition and showed exactly the kind of spirit we want to build. We didn’t win the championship, but for a group that had only one week to prepare, the result was honestly very solid. The kids fought until the end, stayed organized, understood their roles, and played as a team instead of as individuals trying to be heroes for five seconds.
That’s what matters most to us.
At our club, teamwork and discipline come first. The rest takes time. And after this week, we’re even more sure that these kids have a lot ahead of them.
Next stop: China in May 🇨🇳
That will be our next big step, and we’re excited to take the team into a new experience, a new challenge, and a bigger stage.
