Summer Jaya Donoghue is an almuni of GIS and returned to talk with and answer the questions of GIS IB psychology students.
Summer has completed her BSc psychology in the UK and has just begun post-graduate studies in pursuit of becoming a Dr of Health Psychology.
The students asked many questions about studying psychology in the UK and future career paths afterwards.
Well done to Head Teacher Jackie Houghton for suggesting and arranging the session. Invaluable for the students and a chance for a former GIS student to look back and see how far she has come.
Maybe she will return as Dr. Summer Donoghue in the future and inspire even more GIS students.

It was great to see Suppakorn Chaiyasungvol (Mangpor), our GIS alumnus, who started in the Garden International School Eastern Seaboard, Ban Chang, Rayong, Nursery in 2002 and graduated in 2018. Since leaving GIS, Mangpor has attended Khon Kaen University in the Faculty of Medicine. He was recently nominated to represent his university MDKKU to complete his fourth year on an exchange programme at the Medical University of Vienna, Austria. Congratulations, we are proud of your hard work and determination to succeed.

Congratulations to Fiona Dudley, our GIS alumna who graduated from Garden International School Eastern Seaboard, Ban Chang, Rayong, in 2020. Since leaving GIS, she has been learning at MPCT Aldershot in the UK and has recently begun her career in the British Army at AFC Harrogate. Moving far from home to pursue her career was challenging, and it is brilliant to see how she has demonstrated our GIS Core values. A true risk-taker with remarkable resilience. It was lovely to see Fiona and Azia, who will be starting Standford University in Bangkok later in the year, back in School last week, meeting their teachers and sharing their journies. We are so proud of them.

It is always wonderful to welcome back our alumni and hear how they are doing. A few weeks ago, Adelia, one of our GIS alumna who graduated from Garden International School Eastern Seaboard, Ban Chang, Rayong, in 2017 visited the school. Since leaving Garden she has attended Stamford International University and graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts Major Creative Media Design with Distinction. During this time Adelia designed the logo for the Museum of the Earth in America (MOTE), beating over 400 competitors to submit the winning design. She recently applied for a Master's Degree at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, Australia and obtained the Swinburne International Excellence Scholarship for Master of Design.

Phannarai Meesom-Us (Queen), our GIS alumni who graduated from Garden International School Eastern Seaboard, Ban Chang, Rayong, in 2020 and has continued to pursue her love of golf. Having performed well in her first Thai LPGA tournament in July 2021 and coming in the Top 5 in the Phoenix Ladies Classic in March, she is now an entry-level pro golfer in Thailand. Congratulations, we are so proud of your successes.

Well done to Yeen! She's just started her Master's at Cambridge.
