Phra Upakut (水财神), is a revered Buddhist arahat in Thailand, Burma, and Laos, often depicted as a meditating monk associated with wealth, protection against evil, and prosperity. Known as the "Lotus Leaf Monk" or Phra Bua Khem, he is believed to reside in the middle of the ocean and is believed to bring good fortune, business success, and safety to worshippers.
