🇹🇭 How to say “NOT YET” in Thai

yang mâi = not yet
Yang mâi + verb/adjective
yang mâi hǐw = Not hungry yet.
yang mâi gin = Not eating yet.
yang mâi ìm = Not full yet.
yang mâi bpai = Not going yet.
yang mâi tham = Not doing it yet.

ยัง = still / yet
ไม่ = not

May I….? In Thai 🇹🇭

Use [“khǎaw” + verb/noun + nàawy] = May I…? / Can I…?
🗒️ used when you want to politely ask for something or ask permission to do something

Examples
Khǎaw duu nàawy
ขอดูหน่อย
May I see it?

Khǎaw laawng nàawy
ขอลองหน่อย
May I try it?

Khǎaw chim nàawy
ขอชิมหน่อย
May I taste it?

Khǎaw yeuum nàawy

Khǎaw ngern nàawy

Can I have some money?

💡 หน่อย (nàawy) literally means “a little,” but when used in a request, it makes the sentence sound softer and more natural
