Parents also completed registration on the KIS Connect system, taking the first step toward a smooth and connected school experience.

Children learn best when they play.

That is why play is not an occasional activity here, it is a fundamental part of our educational approach.

Through Free Play, Free Day, and daily play-based learning experiences, children are encouraged to explore their interests, test ideas, take risks, ask questions, and construct understanding through firsthand experiences.

Research consistently shows that play supports healthy brain development, executive function, creativity, problem-solving, emotional regulation, and social competence.

But most importantly, play nurtures a lifelong love of learning.

We believe every question matters.

We encourage children to wonder, investigate, and keep asking until they truly understand.

Because education is not about memorizing answers.

What does snow feel like? How does rain move? Why is the sun warm?

Our Preschool learners explored weather through hands-on discovery, turning curiosity into meaningful learning. Through water investigations, sensory ice play, weather matching activities, and imaginative role play, children experienced different weather conditions from around the world using all their senses.

As they poured, measured, observed, and experimented, children were developing early scientific thinking—making predictions, noticing changes, solving problems, and asking questions about the world around them. At the same time, they expanded their vocabulary by describing weather conditions such as hot, cold, rainy, and sunny.

At Kids’ Avenue, we believe young children learn best when they can touch, explore, and experience concepts for themselves. Through engaging, play-based investigations, our learners build the foundations of science while developing curiosity, confidence, and a deeper understanding of the diverse world we live in.

Play Your Way, Build Your Brain

At first glance, Free Play may look like a day of simple fun and freedom.

But behind every stream of water flowing through a homemade channel, every cardboard structure taking shape, every climb, balance, and imaginative creation, young minds are hard at work.

The child pouring water is exploring scientific thinking—observing, testing, predicting, and problem-solving.

The child constructing with loose parts and recycled materials is developing early engineering skills, spatial awareness, and the ability to plan and adapt ideas.

The child climbing, balancing, and navigating challenges is strengthening not only their body, but also focus, self-regulation, resilience, and confidence.

The child collaborating with friends is building language, communication, negotiation, and teamwork skills.

What may appear to be play is, in fact, the foundation of future academic success.

Because learning does not begin when children sit at a desk. It begins when they are free to wonder, explore, experiment, and discover.

Every Friday this term, our children are given the time, space, and freedom to follow their curiosity through Free Play.

For when children play with purpose, they are not simply passing the time—they are building the cognitive, social, emotional, and physical foundations for a lifetime of learning.

🎨✨ English Pre-Writing: Trace & Feel – Revisiting Letters ✨🎨

Little hands dipped into colour, traced familiar paths, and explored letters through touch, movement, and creativity. With each sponge print and painted stroke, children revisited shapes they had seen before, transforming repetition into confidence.

What began as simple marks soon became purposeful movements. Fingers followed lines, hands gained control, and letter forms started to feel familiar. In a world of colour and discovery, early writing skills quietly took root—one trace, one touch, and one joyful moment at a time.
