From Chiang Mai to Nanjing 🇹🇭✈️🇨🇳

What a journey. 🥹

Asia Scenic was invited to Nanjing, China, to share Thai cooking at FoodTalks@XINTIANDI – iFCX Cook House, and this experience became much more meaningful than I ever expected.

We cooked Pad Thai, Som Tam, Chiang Mai Khao Soi and Mango Sticky Rice, but what we shared went far beyond recipes.

We shared Thai ingredients.
Thai words.
Thai culture.
Lots of laughter.
And, of course… a little fire from the wok. 🔥😂

One of the things I believe deeply is that a cooking class should be a real learning experience.

Not only something beautiful to photograph, but something you can touch, cook, taste, understand and remember.

That is why I like to think of Asia Scenic as a Thai Cooking Ambassador.

Through food, we can introduce people to Thailand in a very simple and human way.

I am also incredibly proud of the Asia Scenic team. We brought our way of working from Chiang Mai to another country, adapted to a completely new environment, and worked together exactly as we do at home.

And the most beautiful part?

By the end, it didn’t feel like Thailand meeting China as strangers anymore.

It felt like friends cooking and eating together. 🇹🇭🤝🇨🇳

Thank you Nanjing for the warm welcome, the smiles, the energy and the memories.

We came to share Thai food.
We came home with friendship. 💛
