Sometimes we need to step away from our busy lives and make space for deeper questions.

Who am I?
What is nature?
How am I part of the whole?
What is my purpose in this time?

At Gaia Ashram, we do not pretend to have simple answers to these questions. Instead, we create a space where people can slow down, listen deeply, spend time in nature, and explore these questions together.

Our five-day Deep Ecology & The Work That Reconnects course is inspired by the work of Joanna Macy. Through experiential activities, personal reflection, group sharing, time on the land, yoga, meditation, and community living, we will explore our relationship with ourselves, with one another, and with the Earth.

We will also make space for the feelings that can arise when we look honestly at what is happening in the world—grief, fear, anger, helplessness, love, and hope. These feelings do not need to be pushed away. When held with care, they can become a source of connection, courage, and meaningful action.

The course is facilitated by Sunisa Jamwiset Deiters, co-founder of Gaia Ashram. Sunisa has spent more than two decades facilitating learning processes with people from many different cultures and backgrounds. Deep Ecology and The Work That Reconnects have been an important part of both her personal journey and her work for many years.

Location : Gaia Ashram, Udon Thani, Thailand.

🌿 Course fee: 12,000 THB
The fee includes dormitory accommodation, three vegetarian or vegan meals each day, tea breaks, yoga, and meditation.
