KSU Aims

To continue to maintain and preserve the collective existence and rights of the Karenni peoples, their culture and traditions, by empowering and supporting the students.

KSU Mission

We, the Karenni Students, are against discrimination of race, s*x, color and religion in society. We work to get access to higher education and to preserve human dignity and identity.

KSU Objective

1. To cooperate with the Karenni National Education Committee to seek for Karenni students to have access to further studies.

2. To cultivate and upgrade the knowledge of Karenni students in administration to be able to participate in serving Karenni state in all fields now and in the future.

3. To implement the collective goals of the Union by unification of the students’ spirit and strength.

4. To cooperate and exchange ideas with other student groups who have also suffered oppression.

5. To support vulnerable students who are facing difficulties so they may continue their studies.

6. To educate and promote the students’ morality, dignity and national identity.
