We are pleased to remind colleagues across the ASEAN region that applications remain open for the Japan–ASEAN Training Workshop on One Health Approaches for Neglected Tropical Disease (NTD) Control: Global Networking and Capacity Building.
📍 Venue: Khon Kaen, Thailand
📅 Dates: 8–10 June 2026
This workshop aims to strengthen regional capacity and collaboration in applying the One Health approach for the prevention and control of neglected tropical diseases and emerging zoonotic infections.
The program includes:
• expert lectures and interactive discussions
• case studies on One Health implementation
• a field visit to the Lawa Model, an internationally recognized best-practice model in Northeast Thailand
✈️ Selected participants will receive travel support and accommodation.

We are pleased to announce the Japan–ASEAN Training Workshop on One Health Approaches for Neglected Tropical Disease (NTD) Control: Global Networking and Capacity Building, to be held on 8–10 June 2026 in Khon Kaen, Thailand.
With generous support from the Japan Foundation, this workshop will bring together participants from ASEAN Member States to strengthen capacity and regional collaboration in applying the One Health approach for the prevention and control of NTDs and emerging zoonotic diseases.
The program will include lectures, interactive discussions, and a field visit to the Lawa Model, an internationally recognized One Health best-practice model for liver fluke control in Northeast Thailand.
✈️ Selected participants will receive travel support and accommodation for the duration of the workshop.
