On August 20, the Kindergarten 1 teaching team conducted a series of science experiments designed to promote students’ learning and development through hands-on exploration and observation. The activities encouraged curiosity, critical thinking, and an interest in science. The three experiments were as follows:
1. The Colour Eraser Experiment
Students mixed food coloring with water and then added a small amount of bleach while stirring. They observed the color gradually disappear as the bleach broke down the dye. This experiment introduced students to the concept of chemical reactions in a simple and engaging way.
2. The Magnet Experiment
Students explored the properties of magnets by testing various objects, such as paper clips, plastic toys, and wooden blocks. They grouped the objects into two categories: “sticks” and “doesn’t stick.” Through this activity, students discovered which materials are attracted to magnets and developed their observation and classification skills.
3. The Balloon Rocket Experiment
Students threaded a straw onto a string tied between two chairs and attached an inflated balloon to the straw. When the balloon was released, it zoomed along the string like a rocket. This exciting experiment allowed students to observe how the force of escaping air can create motion.
All three experiments captured the students’ attention and generated great excitement and enthusiasm. The activities provided valuable opportunities for students to learn through hands-on experiences while encouraging curiosity, creativity, observation, and scientific thinking. Most importantly, the experiments inspired the children to become curious about science and encouraged them to dream of becoming scientists in the future.

On August 19, the Kindergarten 2 teaching team conducted an exciting science demonstration on Baking Soda and Vinegar Reactions, along with three engaging mini-experiments, including balloon inflation and bottle eruption.
The experiments created an atmosphere of excitement, curiosity, and wonder, capturing the students’ attention and encouraging them to actively explore scientific phenomena.
The students showed great enthusiasm and enjoyment throughout the activities, making the learning experience both memorable and meaningful.
Through hands-on experimentation, the activity fostered scientific thinking, observation, problem-solving, and a strong sense of curiosity among the young learners.
This outstanding learning experience supports the development of little innovators of the future, inspiring children to explore, experiment, and discover the world through science.
