【📢New Program! Call for ASEAN Participants – JENESYS Phase III📢】

To all future leaders of ASEAN and Japan. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan proudly launches the brand-new program, “JENESYS Phase III”!

The main theme? Social Business; “How can we solve social issues shared by Japan and ASEAN through the business?”

Participants will join one of two thematic groups:
① Environmental Issues & Climate Change
② Digital Infrastructure Development

Through approximately two weeks of lectures, site visits, and discussions in both Japan and Thailand (February 8–22, 2026), participants will collaborate to develop and present a social business plan on the final day.

You’ll live and work alongside with the future leaders from 12 countries (11 ASEAN countries and Japan), tackling real-world challenges together.

🎯 Eligibility (few examples) :
・University students, graduate students, and young professionals (24 ASEAN participants)
・Those interested in social issues, economics, business, or policy-making.
・ Those involved in social business or aspiring entrepreneurs
・JENESYS alumni are also eligible!
※ Applicants must be 30 years old or younger at the time of the program

⚠️ Notes:
-This program differs from standard JENESYS programs.　Participants are required to cover certain costs and make their own arrangements.
-Submission of documents such as a certificate of enrollment and an essay is required.

นักท่องเที่ยวชาวไทย 🇹🇭 หลายท่านเมื่อไปท่องเที่ยวที่ประเทศญี่ปุ่น 🗾 อาจเคยใช้หรือเคยผ่านตา “บัตร SUICA” บัตรเติมเงินที่ช่วยให้การเดินทางด้วยรถไฟ 🚃 ในกรุงโตเกียว 🗼 และพื้นที่รอบๆสะดวกสบาย เพราะช่วยประหยัดเวลาในการซื้อตั๋วรถไฟสำหรับโดยสาร

บัตรแถบสีเขียวที่แสนเรียบง่ายนี้ มีมาสคอต “SUICA เพนกวิน” 🐧 ที่หน้าตาสุดแสนน่ารักซึ่งถูกสร้างสรรค์ขึ้นโดย “จิฮารุ ซาคาซากิ” ศิลปินนักออกแบบชาวญี่ปุ่น และเริ่มใช้เป็นมาสคอทของบัตร SUICA มาตั้งแต่ปี พ.ศ. 2544 เป็นต้นมา จนเมื่อวันอังคารที่ 11 พฤศจิกายน ที่ผ่านมา EAST JAPAN RAILWAY COMPANY ผู้ให้บริการบัตรดังกล่าวได้ประกาศว่า “SUICA เพนกวิน” จะสำเร็จการศึกษา 🧑‍🎓 ในสิ้นปีงบประมาณ พ.ศ. 2569 (สิ้นเดือนมีนาคม พ.ศ. 2570) และจะมีการประกาศมาสคอทตัวใหม่ที่มาแทนในช่วงฤดูใบไม้ร่วง ปี พ.ศ. 2569 🍂

ตลอดช่วง 20 กว่าปีที่ผ่านมา มาสคอท SUICA เพนกวินบนบัตรกว่า 110 ล้านใบได้ถูกใช้ในการเดินทาง ชำระค่าบริการและสินค้า และกำลังจะยุติบทบาทอีกในไม่นานนี้ ไม่เพียงแต่มีความทรงจำในโอกาสต่างๆ 🫂 ร่วมกับคนญี่ปุ่นเท่านั้น แต่ยังรวมไปถึงนักท่องเที่ยวจากทั่วโลกรวมถึงชาวไทยด้วย 🧳
