TWO WEEKS TO GO 💚

With just two weeks until the start of the new academic year, Greenacre is getting ready to welcome our students back.
There is much to look forward to this year, with exciting developments taking shape across the school and classrooms being prepared for the weeks ahead.

For now, we hope our families enjoy the final days of the summer break: time with family and friends, time outdoors, and time to rest and recharge.

We’ve missed you and look forward to seeing you again on 31 August.

Sport at Greenacre is about more than physical development. It’s about teamwork, confidence, wellbeing and being part of a community.

From swimming lessons in our 25- metre pool and a varied PE programme to sports clubs, games and opportunities to get active during break times, movement is part of everyday school life.

This academic year, we’re taking sport at Greenacre even further, with an enhanced programme, new opportunities and more competitive experiences for our students.

At Greenacre, we encourage our students to think creatively and care for the world around them.

Throughout the year, our learning reflects the principles of Reduce, Reuse and Recycle, inspiring students to give everyday materials a new purpose through art and design while developing creativity, innovation and environmental responsibility.

As we continue enjoying the Summer Break, we’d love to see your creativity at home. Create your own artwork using recycled materials and send us a photo to inspire our community.

As we look back on the past academic year, we’re proud to celebrate the achievements of our Secondary students who were recognised at the End-of-Year Awards Ceremony before the Summer Break.

Every award tells a story of commitment, resilience and determination, and we’re delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students.
Now, as we look ahead to September, our students are excited for the next stage of their journey, with new opportunities, including the opening of our new Secondary building, an important milestone in the development of our GCSE programme.

Congratulations to every award recipient. We can’t wait to see what this new academic year will bring.

As part of their Foundation Stage Graduation, our Reception children shared their hopes and aspirations for the future.
These special moments capture the beginning of each child’s journey, and we look forward to seeing where their interests and talents will take them.

During the final two days of term, students from across the school were divided into mixed-age teams to take part in our brand-new FIFA Academic Camp. Throughout the day, they challenged themselves with a variety of engaging activities that combined learning, teamwork, creativity and plenty of fun.

It was a wonderful opportunity for students of all ages to work together, build new friendships and finish the academic year with smiles, laughter and unforgettable memories.

Wishing all of our families a happy, safe and relaxing summer break. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back for another exciting year!
