We painted our giant pirate ship. We had so much fun!

The pupils have been learning about rabbits. We sang 'Little Peter Rabbit' and read lots of Pip and Posy stories. The pupils also made rabbit headbands. Then we had a dance party with musical instruments.

In the afternoon we made animal masks. The children chose their favourite animal to colour. Then we used them to sing songs, dance and play outside.

We made our banana bread, everyone helped to mash the bananas, pour in the ingredients and mix together. All the children tried it at snack time, they thought it was very yummy!

In the afternoon we made Teddy bear party hats and had a picnic together with our soft toys on the grass. We read stories, sang songs and ate snack together, it was lots of fun!

Yesterday, on the 27th of November, Twinkle celebrated the Yi Peng festival!
The Thai Language and Culture Department put together a full-day event to embrace the tradition from northern Thailand, lovingly known as "Yi Peng - ยี่เป็ง." Meritton pupils dressed up in traditional Thai costumes and participated in activities with joy.

Centres time allows children to grow in their social skills and become more self aware. In addition to the social aspect of centers, children are learning a lot about themselves at this time.
